Organizational Context:The Network for Psychosocial Support - Africa was developed with the main goal of connecting young African professionals working within the fields of mental health, social work, criminal justice, education and public health who are interested in sharing knowledge and developing and implementing long-term sustainable strategies in the area of psychosocial support for vulnerable groups. Position Summary:Internship placements focus on candidates in the early stages of their professional careers. Internships will be for a duration of at least 6 months. Interns will have flexible working times that will be determined at the start of the internship. Responsibilities:- Conduct research on specific mental health and psychosocial topics (best practice, evidence based interventions/approaches, M&E, IDPs/Refugees, Victimology, Conflicts & emergencies, etc.)- Assist with preparation of training materials, proposals, advocacy materials, etc.- Assist with the planning of networking events across Africa.  Application Deadline: March 1st, 2018For further information regarding the position, send an email to info@nps-africa.com.
