Main Purpose:The Factory Manager /General Manager ’s responsibilities include leading the operation and maintenance of staff, the daily management and coordination of factory operations including production, logistics and maintenance.This is a hands-on position that is responsible for maximising daily production. This position plays anintegral part in factory operations, and has responsibility developing and maintaining motivated staff and for developing and achieving budgetary and production targets.Main ResponsibilitiesAllocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.Ensure effective distribution/ fleet of delivery/ transport- work with the Marketing team and Operation to ensure time based, zonal distribution- zonal distribution can be done every day of the week depending on demand- deliveries per zone per day.Stock/ inventory taking. Also, collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime. ProcurementVehicle maintenanceDaily, Weekly and Monthly Financial report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.Daily reconciliation of Bank Statement. Analysis of all ageing debtors. Daily monitoring of Cash flow. Maintaining record of finished goods. Maintain all records and files of staff. Process and manage recruitment of new staff ensuring adequate staffing levels, managing holiday allowances, recruitment, appraisal, attendance, and daily supervision to maximise efficient productivity. Monitoring debtors and creditors and issuing early warning to Marketing teams. Ensure discipline is maintained amongst staff. Monitor all suppliers and ensure no incidence of stock out of Raw material occurs. Ensure revenue collection is up to date. Ensure utility bills ,wages and any other outstanding payments are paid on time as per the terms. Ensure all trading licences are always valid. Maintain high moral values at all times. Ensure all staff are highly motivated at all times. General Maintenances and cleaning. Legal Compliance. Ensure compliance to company policies procedures and standards And any other task assigned by Albany Management
