Kogi State University, Anyigba was established on 18th November, 1999 and currently, has a total student population of over 23,000 students spread across its seven (7) Faculties of Agriculture, Arts and Humanities, Education, Law, Management Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and a College of Health Sciences. Though a State University Kogi State University accommodates a significant number of non-indigenes, from all parts of Nigeria. The University has graduated about 16,500 students. The University commenced postgraduate programmes in all the faculties in 2008/2009 except for Faculties of Education and College of Health Sciences in order to boost research and high level manpower development.Job Title: University LibrarianJob DescriptionThe Librarian is a Principal Officer of the University responsible for the administration of the University Library and coordination of all library services in the entire University community and reports to the Vice Chancellor. Condition of ServiceThe condition attached to this position is as generally applicable in Nigerian University System and as may from time to time be determined by the Governing Council. The appointment shall be for a single term of five (5) years.
