The company also manages the world-class guest reward program Hilton HHonors®.We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: Stewarding SupervisorJob ID: HOT04WG1Location: Ikeja, LagosJob SummaryA Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Kitchen Stewards to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while supporting the overall Back of House operations.What will I be doing?As a Stewarding Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising the Kitchen Stewards and supporting the Back of House team to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Stewarding Supervisor will also be required to coordinate other kitchen responsibilities, make certain Back of House areas are maintained, and ensure that health and safety are top priorities. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Supervise the Kitchen Stewards ensuring high standardsSupport the Back of House Team in training and developmentCoordinate the daily pot-wash and dish wash responsibilitiesEnsure Back of House areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completedObserve COSHH guidelines when handling hazardous substances and comply with all aspects of Health and Safety requirementsReport faults, misused or damaged equipment issues to the Back of House Manager, Head Chef, and/or Maintenance ManagerEnsure the correct PPE is in place and guidelines are adhered toEnsure machinery is operated properly, efficiently, safely and in accordance with the Hilton Hotel Health and Safety ManualAssist in the location, movement and storage of operational equipmentAssist in the stock take of equipment and other items as requiredEnsure team members adhere to all Health and Safety and Hygiene RegulationsCarry out any other reasonable task set by the Hotel's Management.
