Over the years, we have established a proven track record of successfully translating innovative thinking into compelling concepts which has put our clients’ way ahead of competition, serving them through a core team of professionals supported by a high quality network of associates in industry, business, and academia with an unmatched combined experience and skill base.To meet the demands of our exciting and expanding business in Nigeria and West Africa, we are looking to recruit a number of young and experienced professionals for the position below:Job Title: SME Business AdvisorLocation: LagosJob DescriptionPrimary objective:To implement the strategies and achieve positive business results for small and medium enterprise clients.Key ActivitiesProvide business support and training to client enterprises on issues related to: o Building and evaluating business plansBuilding and analyzing product-level Profit and Loss statements, as well as making recommendations for productsProper accounting and best practices in regular financial reportingOperational analysis of factories, including mapping of existing processes and identification of bottlenecksStrategic analysis of growth options and the creation of medium- and long-term business strategiesAnalysis of supply chains to determine optimal sourcingCompetitive analysis (SWOT)Customer profitability analysis and recommendationsMarket analysis (distribution, segmentation, marketing, and positioning recommendations)Assist with the identification and recruiting of new clients o Work with clients to develop Scopes of Work for new engagementsCollect monthly and/or quarterly business data from clients on a timely basisMeet regularly with SMEs, and provide regular updates SME activitiesProvide regular documentation of all activitiesAttend all trainings set forthWhere assigned, develop trainings for staff regarding business advisory activities in areas where clients need additional support, develop and deliver formal business trainingsCommunicate regularly with the leadership of existing clients in order to support their activities, provide additional support, and track key metrics and work with SMEs to manage their expectations.
