The account manager serves to understand the customer’s demands, plan how to meet these demands, and generate sales for the company as a result.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management:Monitor accounts and ensure that activities are up to dateEnsure that key deliverable required for each account is delivered on timeAttend status update meetingLiaise with client to ensure smooth running of accountLiaise with social media and give them maximum support for the smooth running of the social media accountRelationship Management/Customer Retention:Managing a portfolio of accountsEnsuring that clients needs and requests are delivered on time and to specificationsDealing with all aspects of a campaignLeading and training other members of the account teamManaging the work of account executivesMarketing Strategies:Delivering sales presentations to high-level executivesManage and grow key customer relationships within existing accounts whilst developing new business opportunitiesPlan and manage(monitor) major campaigns from start to finishWork with creative to deliver the creative required for the execution of campaignsCorporate image/Publicity:Attending client meetingsRevenue generation/market expansion:Drive peak performance by way of increased revenue and profitPeriodical analysis and reporting business performance as requiredDevising and implementing strategies for meeting account and revenue targetsReporting on activities and campaigns and presenting at meetings. Providing insights and recommendationsWork with finance on media plan approval, vendor payments and client invoicingPrepare and share reconciliation plan for spendMonitor competition prepare and share reportBudgeting/Sales and Marketing forecast and Development • Create, negotiate and close commercial agreementsLiaise with product/tech to ensure that products are delivered as at when dueEngage and work with vendors and influencers
