Michael Stevens Consulting - We are a long established and well respected multi-disciplinary management and financial consulting firm with offices in several locations across Nigeria.We are currently recruiting to fill the vacant position below: Job Title: Regional Business ManagerLocation: LagosKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sales Management:Forecast sales for the Region in alignment with company goals and sales trend of the regionSet sales target for each area within the regionEnsure products are available in the right mix in all areas to meet customers demandMonitor region’s revenue and cost to achieve regional profitabilityAnalyze sales achievement report to address situations leading to unfavorable variancesProvide necessary logistics support for sales force along with exemplary leadership and motivational focus to the Area sales team.Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes;Survey customer needs and trendsTrack competitor’s performance & products with a view to developing the right strategies to position the companyElevate existing distributors to Sales Partners based on performanceSupervise existing sales partners performance & provide support where necessaryGuide ASMs to develop & expand customer baseCollate & analyze reports for monthly sales & marketing meetingStock Management:Ensure adherence with stock policy in all areasManages stock & its distribution in all areasApprove stock requisition & analyses region weekly stock positionCost Management:Prepare annual budget, forecasting expenditure, annualized variances and initiate corrective actionsScrutinize expenditure in line with budget guideline before approval for paymentEnsure credit policy is adhered to and monitor credit facility for each credit customerRecommend credit limits for customersCoaching & Mentoring:Hold meeting with ASMs on a monthly basis to review monthly area performanceAccompany ASMs to trade to review, train and advise on managerial abilitiesEnsure all sales team members carry out respective responsibilitiesMake unscheduled visits to area offices to spot check processes and
