Management Alternatives Limited - Our client in the Hospitality sector based in Kogi State, is recruiting qualified candidates for the below position:Job Title: ReceptionistCode: RP/FDO/104Location: KogiDepartment: OperationsReports To: Operations Manager (OM)SummaryUnder the supervision of the Operations Manager the Receptionist will be totally responsible receiving guests and assigning rooms to them.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following:Welcome guests during check-in and giving a polite farewell to guests while checkout.Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner.Detailed information regarding arrivals and room requirements.Have up to date information on daily room occupancyAllocate rooms to all arriving guests.Maintain up-to date information on room rates, current promotions, offers and packagesPrepare and maintain all guest portfolios in order to advice for frequent guest rewardsCo-ordinate with housekeeping for cleaning and clearing of rooms.Collect and document Guest feedback from time to time.Perform basic cashier activities as and when required.Maintain mini stall for guest requestsEnsure that all check-ins and check-outs are handled smoothly without.Supervisory Responsibilities:Supervision of the heads of all units of the hotel.QualificationKnowledge, skill, and/or ability required:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
