Lagos State Employment Trust Fund - The Lagos State government has created a N25 billion fund to invest in the businesses of small and medium scale entrepreneurs who currently reside in Lagos. The fund will also help to train residents, to qualify them for better jobs.The initiative is the brainchild of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.We are creating employment starting with the expansion of our LSETF team first.  Job Title: Head, Administration/Human ResourcesLocation: Lagos, NIGERIAJob Description: Develop and implement the Fund’s HR strategy in line with the overall organizational goals and objectivesPrepare the department’s annual budget and monitor its implementationCoordinate activities involved in sourcing for qualified internal and external applicants as well as determine applicant suitability for available vacancies and recommend suitable vacanciesReview/ maintain/ update the Fund's structure, job descriptions and manning levels in line with the Fund’s need and requirementCoordinate staff placement on the Fund’s structure and development of career and successionplansCoordinate training needs analysis through results of staff appraisals discussions with heads of divisions and unitsReview training proposals received from consultants with a view to determining suitability/ relevance to support training strategyPrepare and regularly update the training calendar for the Fund in conjunction with heads of divisions and unitsEnsure effective implementation of the annual performance management plan/calendarProvide technical, logistic and administrative support to the Executive Management in the review and approval of the outcomes of the appraisal process, including attendance at such Executive Management meeting(s)Oversee and ensure regular update of staff compensation details and payroll systemFacilitate accurate and timely payroll processing and salary disbursement to all staffEnsure that the HR Policies and Procedures manual and staff handbook are up to date in line with current trends, realities and best practicesKeep abreast on all matters affecting staff and their welfare, and escalate any staff related issues or complaint accordinglyManage procurement and ensure the resources of the Fund are adequately maintainedCoordinate all admin activities within the fund.Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, social sciences or related fieldProfessional HR qualification (e.g. CIPD /CIPM would be added advantage)
