MSION’s goal is to dramatically improve access to family planning and related reproductive health services to reduce maternal mortality and ultimately poverty in Nigeria.MSION is part of Marie Stopes International’s Global Partnership which operates in 43 countries and is the largest non-Governmental provider of family planning in the world.We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: Infection Prevention AssistantLocation: LagosReporting to: Centre CoordinatorDuration of contract: 2 yearsProbation Period: 6 monthsResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities as an Infection Prevention Assistant shall include;Keeping the entire office, its surroundings, client care areas and all used medical equipment tidy, neat and clean at all timeEncourage a commitment to accommodating clients' special needs such as flexibility on working hours, strict privacy and confidentiality to generate demand for MSION services.Ensure proper management and disposal of both general and medical waste.Assist the clinical team in providing approved services trained on infection preventionAssist with maintaining medical stock/a drug inventory and ordering registerEnsure all clinical Instruments are washed, sterilised and stored properlyEnsure all the drapes are properly washed and storedRun errands including banking of daily income for the teams when appropriatePromote and maintain a welcoming, friendly, professional and efficient atmosphere towards all clients at all timesCarry out any other lawful duties assigned by the outreach Team Leader.Assist with administrative work within limits when necessary
