Over the years, DCP has developed a wide range of multi-disciplinary professional services covering both the private and public sectors of the economy through the "DCP Ecosystem".We are recruiting to fill the position of:Job Title: Human Resource/Business Development ExecutiveLocation: AbujaPosition Start Date: ImmediatelyLocation of Job (UNIT): Management DivisionReports to: Managing DirectorSummaryThe HR/Business Development would be in charge of building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.Plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities of an organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance.Role ResponsibilityAdminister compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs.Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants.Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.Business Development roles and responsibilities:Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
