We are a registered business under the CAC with other subdivisions in the Recruitment (Career) and Messaging Solutions industrial.We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: Head, Human Resources and Corporate ServicesLocation: NassarawaJob DescriptionDevelopment of HR department goals, objectives, and systemsPlanning, organising, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR departmentSummary of FunctionsRecruitmentPerformance ManagementLearning and DevelopmentCompensation ManagementExit ManagementPolicy Development and reviewFacility ManagementAsset ManagementFleet ManagementManagement reportingEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinates and assists with employee recruitment, hiring, orientation and training:Drafting and strategically placing advertisements to attract appropriately qualified candidates.Critically reviewing applications, assessing candidates and short-listing for interview according to expressed criteriaDevelop and maintain Recruitment and Selection database i.e. ensure shortlist are generated as at when due, generate and maintain a Recruitment status reportConduct interviews and recommend candidates for final interviewPrepare offer letter and conduct Staff InductionCoordinates and assists managers with employee reviews and performance appraisals.Creation of HR tools including job descriptions outlining Key performance areas and key performance indicatorsConducting performance appraisalManaging the outcomes of appraisalLearning and Development:Identifying competency gaps and training needsDrawing up an annual training plan and implementing it.Compensation and benefits management:Ensuring remuneration is competitiveEnsuring statutory deductions are made timelyRecommends new or revised policies and procedures as appropriate:Answers employee questions regarding personnel policies, procedures and benefits;Researches and disseminates topical or timely information to managers and/or employees on personnel issues.Exit Management:Coordinates and participates in completion of terminations and exit interviews.Carry out a Trend Analysis for staff exitEstablishes and maintains personnel records and reports; maintains company organization charts and employee directory.Facility Management:Ensure the company’s facility is in top shape and conducive for workPay all utility billsProcure all office equipment, furniture and plant and maintain same.Insurance of company assetsFleet Management:Maintain all company vehiclesEnsure proper registration and up to date licenses and permits are obtained.Manage all official drivers.Performs other related duties as required or as assigned.
