We enable monetization of mobile content (games, movies, apps), in Nigeria, and helps mobile subscribers locate amazing products, services & apps via mobile advertising.Buffer is propelling ad tech to the next level by making digital display, games, mobile and video ads more personal, relevant and valuable to individuals, across all their devices - anywhere, every day.We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: Digital Marketing InternLocation: LagosJob Type: TemporaryJob Field: ICT / Marketing Internships / VolunteeringJob DescriptionThe Digital Marketing Internship is for minimum of six months to one year with the possibility of confirmation as entry-level full staff  based on candidate’s performance.Candidate will work in our Apapa office and must possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media sites.The candidate will be responsible for contributing to our website redesign projects, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, engaging in online forums, participating in online outreach and promotion, optimizing our website and conducting keyword analysis.Those looking to gain valuable online media experience with an established organization are encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Digital Marketing Manager in implementing overall communications and marketing plan - focusing specifically on digital communications - to build awareness within the community, increase engagement, adoption and products sales.Work with Digital Marketing Manager to refine social media strategy and best practicesAssist in managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely, relevant, and engagingDraft weekly e-newsletters to subscribersPrepare weekly updates and reports to track growth and success rates of campaignsKeep up to date and informed on new social media trends and adapt accordinglyEnsure proper messaging is being executed onlineIdentify leaders and influencers (internal/external) and engage them in brand activitiesAssist with website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed
