To strengthen our operations and interventions in the country.We are seeking qualified candidates for the position below:Job Title: Community Mobilization CoordinatorLocation: BenueContract Type: 4 Month Fixed TermsProject SummaryThe UNFPA Integrated Reproductive Health & Mentoring activity is a 6-month intervention implemented by FHI 360 and Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) in Borno and Benue states. The overall goal of the activity is to meet the most urgent reproductive health (RH) and mentoring needs of 285,000 conflict affected underserved adolescents, youth and women through gender sensitive, rights-based approaches within host and reclaimed communities and IDP camps in north-east (Borno) and north central Nigeria (Benue).ResponsibilitiesCommunity Mobilization Coordinator Under the direction of the State project coordinator, S/he will be responsible for working closely with the IRHM team to foster and strengthen relationships between the IDPs, host communities and relevant government stakeholders as well as implementing partners to achieve desired objectives.S/he will be responsible for working closely with internally displaced persons camp (IDP) officials, gatekeepers in host communities, health care workers, local emergency and humanitarian response stakeholders, religious leaders, adolescent girls, young women and their caregivers to ensure project gains sustainable support.The Community Mobilization Coordinator is also expected to create a network of support and participation with the local government departments that can provide caregivers with critical knowledge, expertise and means to empower their financial productivity and know how.
