360 Degree Habitat Limited, is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:Job Title: Business Unit ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction for day-to-day operations of the assigned Construction Business Unit.To develop and direct the local market, maintain long-term relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and contractors to influence opportunities.Develop and implement plans to maximize overall business objectives, as well as insure maximum profitability.Manages business unit within operating budget targets set by the Management Executive Committee.Ensures the safe execution of all projects under the Construction Business Unit (CBU).Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining business relationships and managing vendor and subcontractor relationships.Accountable for all operational and execution aspects of the Construction Unit to ensure maximized profitability and the highest quality customer service delivery.Personal leadership and involvement in Health and Safety with high levels of performance, courtesy and respect which are in compliance with Group Policies and Procedures.Develops future leaders within the Construction Group.Maintain and continuously improve relationships with blue chip, quality strategic partners to bring the highest skill levels to projects.Ensure satisfactory execution strategies are incorporated into all bids and proposals.Interface and manage within the matrix organization to maximize their organization and capabilities.Develop, oversee and ensure that Construction Unit strategies are achieved.Conduct and coordinate Business Development with the Corporate Business Development Team; including assisting in pulling together major estimates for the Business Unit. This includes negotiating the scope contracts.Initiate productivity improvements through the operations managers and general superintendents. Ensure the quality of work to BMCC standards and requirements.Manage personnel.Monitor and maintain company culture.Meet or exceed all financial budgets and goals; including preparing and maintaining budgets, reviewing and approving Status Reports, monitoring all pricing, and reviewing cost data.Perform all other duties as assigned.
