Union Technical Manpower Services Limited (UTMS) - With a strong drive for innovation and market leadership, Our client, a leading integrated energy services provider with offices in Nigeria (Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt), USA (Houston) and United Kingdom (London) is looking to hire competent, motivated and well experienced individuals into the position below:Job Title: Business AnalystJob Code: UTMS 103Location: NigeriaJob SummaryEnsure the co-ordination and efficient management of marketing and Business Analyst activities for the company towards the delivery of company strategic business and revenue targetsTo create value for the company, through the attainment of sales targets and co-ordination of Business Analyst activitiesWinning new businesses, exploring new avenues of activity and seeking opportunities that the company can exploit in its bid to develop and growRoles & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analyst & Market Research:Identify market opportunities and position the company to take advantage of such opportunitiesDrive market sales volumes to ensure attainment of pre-defined targetsDevelop new market opportunities for additional product volumes coming from current and future operating areasCo-ordinate the company’s marketing and commercial efforts relating to the products and services being offeredDevelop new business relationships while maintaining existing onesDevelop and supervise Business Analyst executivesMarket Intelligence & Analysis:Proactively assist with the collection and analysis of information relating to potential commercial, industrial and corporate data that will contribute to the company’s strategic thinking and planningKeeping abreast of issues affecting the oil and gas sector and collecting competitor intelligencePrepare the company’s strategy for price review and lead price review teams at negotiationsManage the market research and reporting infrastructureFinancial management of projects, put together bids for new jobs, negotiating and agreeing contractsNegotiations:Developing negotiation strategies and execution of sameSupport and provide input to new contracts and contract renewals/extensionsSecuring agreements on commercial disputes through commercial negotiations with external parties(JV partners, clients and customers)Participate in the development of Sales and Purchase AgreementsGeneral Administration:Act as corporate liaison for all Amazon Energy projectsEnsure market visibility via attendance of and participation in industry related exhibitions and conferencesCarry out corporate branding to create brand recognitionCollating and reviewing information to be published in the company’s newsletterAdvise Management/Board ahead of developments in Government and highest industry authoritiesEstablish and maintain good contact with all relevant authorities which company interfaces in the delivery of its servicesExternal Relations/Corporate Communication:Advise management on issues relating to optimal company operations including resource allocation, hiring and development, financial forecasting and monitoringCreate and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation following the company’s stipulated procedure(s)Ensure effective and profitable execution of all company projects, provide leadership and support to project managers and project engineers, participate in project issue resolution internally and externallyResponding to tenders and requests for information in a timely mannerEnsures that Company has the state of art technology and intellectual capacity and know how to work competently as an independent operator and an effective partner with international companies.
