By partnering with major global enterprises and top universities, we have developed a series of educational programmes that address the challenges facing business today, in terms of research, consulting and, specifically for TEXEM, the skills gaps within African organisations.We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: Associate Sales Director Location: LagosSeniority Level: Mid-Senior levelIndustry: Professional Training & Coaching Staffing and Recruiting Employment Type: Full-timeJob Functions: Consulting Sales Human Resources Job DescriptionProspect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business in the areas of open and customised training, executive sourcing and others.Cold call as appropriate within Lagos area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunitiesMeet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging own network.Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.Research and build relationships with new clients.Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.Plan approaches and pitches.Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.Participate in pricing the solution/service.Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.Present an image that mirrors that of the client.Have "hands-on" approach in the high net sales industry and be prepared to generate actionable partnership ideasGood knowledge of customer economics, with ability to identify and develop new business solutions for clientsExecute sales activities, including development of key account strategies, their implementation, and the required coordination of resources.Develop & implement short term plans in order to ensure effective customer coverage.Increase market penetration and monitor performance against planned objectives & take action to close the gap.Experience in customer engagement at executive level of sales in service sectorExperience of high level stakeholder engagementResults-oriented entrepreneurial spirit and “can do” attitudeStrong team player and Excellent people skillVery flexible and can work under pressureBe involved in regular brainstorming and strategy sessions.Have the ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines.
