Michael Stevens Consulting - We are a long established and well respected multi-disciplinary management and financial consulting firm with offices in several locations across Nigeria.We are currently recruiting to fill the vacant position below: Job Title: Area Sales ManagerLocation: LagosJob DescriptionAchievement of Sales Target:Develop sales plan & programmes to ensure sales objective is achieved or exceededEnsure proper budgeting control and monitoring of sales performance against planProvide distributors and customers in the Area with information about new or improved products and services, price change in order to improve sales in the regionEstablish, maintain and expand customer baseRevenue/ Cash Management:Manage receipt of revenues from customersEnsure daily cash lodgments at the local bankEfficient control of cash and stock at depots/area.Drive debt management strategiesChannel Coverage:Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company’s productsContinuous search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the regionProactively monitor each sales depot performance in terms of cost, sales and shares toward achievement of plan and efficiency of resource utilizationEnsure adequate product supply and optimum deployment of distribution fleetConduct regular market visits to check route coverage and competitor activityMonitor In- bar activation & commando salesStrategic Support:Provide support for RBMs to ensure achievement of sales goals and objectivesExecute sales promotional programmes on behalf of the RBMEnsure brand visibility to promote sales by liaising with the Marketing team to ensure that adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions is available in the AreaReporting:Generate and analyze sales reportProvide periodic feedback to sales and marketing team on branch key performance issuesCoaching & Mentoring:Setting sales target for team membersTrack fieldmax usage by sales teamAppraise and update skills and performance of sales forceEstablish and ensure that all sales administration procedures are adhered tooStock Maintenance:Co-ordinate and follow up with the storehouse supervisor to ensure that adequate inventory stock of product is maintained for the Area in order to meet the sales delivery schedules
