Position SummaryThe Subsea Supervisor is in charge of the Subsea Department during night shift operations. He is responsible for operating and maintaining Subsea equipment / operations during nights and answers to the Senior Subsea Supervisor. Position ScopeThe Subsea Supervisor coordinates with the Drilling and Maintenance Departments during operations. He is required to take a leadership role regarding Pacific Drillings Safety Management Systems and always use Pacific drilling core values in every task. Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesMust have knowledge of Technical Calculations ie: MRT Ton Cycles, Subsea Useable Fluid Volumes and Landout Calculations etc.Assist with Planning and Maintenance of Well Control related equipment including the BOP, Control System, Marine Riser and Tensioning System, CMC/ AHC, Choke Manifold and High Pressure Air System onboard. Ensure a high standard of all work conducted.Provide regular mentoring to the Subsea Assistant, feedback should be given to the Senior Subsea Supervisor.Assist in the formatting and execution of JSA’s, Rig Specific Procedures, Permit to Work, and other associated Safety Management Systems onboard the vessel.Carry out regular testing of the BOP and Control System including function and pressure testing operations. These tests must comply with Company Policy and Safety Procedures/ Regulations.Comprehend Engineering Drawings and Hydraulic Schematics.Carry out fault finding on all Subsea related equipment. Report any defects to the Senior Subsea Supervisor.
