Project Officer – Monitoring and Evaluation at The Imo State Government

 The Imo State Government is implementing a World Bank Assisted Financing of Community and Social Development Project (CSDP). The project has the objective to increase access of poor to improved social and natural resources infrastructure services in a sustainable manner throughout Nigeria. This will be achieved through the provision of grant support to benefiting communities for implementation of community driven micro Projects under approved Community Development Plans (COPs).In order to commence state level implementation of Additional Financing, the position below is available for employment:Job Title: Project Officer - Monitoring and EvaluationLocation: ImoKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for data collection, collation and analysis for field level activitiesProvide implementation assistance to M&E Manager.Compilation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports.Monitor Progress towards attainment of targets and to adapt targets to realities.Provide an improved foundation for planning effective resource use.Identify unacceptably high cost interventions and operations.Provide record of events.Provide information base for future evaluations, maintain quality standards.Any other duty that may be assigned by the M&E Manager.
