Ensure all pharmacy staff are fully competent in its useEnsure the training and development of competence of pharmacists and pharmacy support staff for the delivery of Pharmacy Services and Health Promotion such that our customers receive excellent and professional careKeep abreast of and ensure the deployment of current and relevant pharmacy services (e.g. medicines use review, healthy heart checks, weight loss program, sexual health, travel health, clinic, smoking cessation etc.) according to an agreed timelineImplement relevant Health Promotions in accordance to World Health Organisation health days/weeksMaintain Pharmacy Services and Health Promotion programs in accordance with all regulatory and professional requirementsOversee the continuous monitoring to the impact of Pharmacy Services and Health Promotion in our communitiesEnsure periodic analysis of dispensary records to identify disease and prescribing trends etc. Make recommendationsPrepare, administer and monitor the budget for the departmentCoordinate the continuous professional development of pharmacists within the organisation, ensuring that they are up to date with the knowledge and skills required to deliver best practices in community and public health pharmacy
