With joining MainOne you'll be challenged, inspired and proud as you become a part of something big.We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: IT Technical Support ManagerLocation: LagosDepartment: Corporate Services & DevelopmentReporting Line: Head, Corporate Services & DevelopmentContact: Head, Corporate Service & DevelopmentResponsibilitiesUnderstand what our customers value; developRelationships and a 'service' model to support those needsProvide an on-going evaluation of the effectiveness of client services operations and project based services and recommend measures to improve overall service deliveryFormulate, direct, and participate in the development and implementation of goals and objectives within the deployment of cloud computing servicesAct as liaison between technology and business ensuring appropriate interests are represented; communicate changes which impact client or business, including changes in staff, technology, policy, procedures, or practicesAssists business with client requirements development and analysisResponsible for ensuring infrastructure and uptime and quality managementChair regular operations/service meetings to track issues, drive action items and manage day-to-day operations of applicationsMonitor the deliverables of each team member to ensure successful project delivery within the constraints of scope, schedule, cost and qualityManage project issues and risks by reaffirming client expectations and taking early action to identify, track and resolve potential problemsFocus on acquiring, developing and retaining talent, effectively leading the team, and promoting a fun team atmosphere with high moraleProject quality assurance, transfer of knowledge/project close and end of project feedbackPerform cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested.Other Duties:Install and configure CISCO switches and routersPerform wireless LAN/WAN maintenance workSupport and maintain existing CISCO VoIP infrastructureTCP/IP network design and configurationPerform IP Network supportNetwork protocol analysis and monitoringEnsure remote office access to LANAdvise on corporate network issuesProvide proactive support of the corporate LAN/WAN infrastructureLiaise with IP group to quickly resolve issuesLiaise with the IP group to determine the current corporate network topology and designDevelop a Diagram of the current network topologyDNS ConfigurationFirewall configuration and maintenanceProactively analyze and correct network problemsDocumentation of procedures and practicesDesigns, documents, and evaluates computer security programs by researching, evaluating, testing, recommending, communicating and implementing new security software or devicesDevelops and analyzes IT security models, and maintains methodology to track Security Plans for each sensitive/critical major application and general support system within the organizationDevelops security policy documentation by audits and tests of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment toolsTests firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment toolsDevelop and maintain IT Security Architecture Plans by auditing present configurations and communicating and developing security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunicationsRespond to queries and requests for computer security information and reportsConducts investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to informationConducts information systems security risk assessments and implements controls to mitigate/alleviate risks to the corporationAbility to structure and communicate general awareness of information systems securityStays current and abreast of Industrial Security trends and compliance regulationsDevelops materials for computer security education/awareness programsVPN and IPSEC implementationCISCO Iron Port administration and supportCompetencies Required:Security (Firewall, Concept)Unified Communication(CISCO)Microsoft Technologies Storage/Data Management.Wireless TechnologyKnowledge of IT ProcessesPeople ManagementBasic knowledge of networksGood oral and written communication skillsTime management and personal effectiveness skillsRelationship managementTeam work
