Blue Lodge Catering Limited, a fast moving bakery, pastry and restaurant located on the Island, is recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: Food & Beverage SupervisorLocation: LagosJob DescriptionCandidates are expected to have experience working in a continental restaurant and is comfortable attending to expatriate guest. Manage Restaurant operations:Maintain exceptional levels of customer serviceRecruit, manage, train and develop the Restaurant teamManage guest queries in a timely and efficient mannerAccountable for monthly stock takesIncentivise team members to maximize sales and revenueEnsure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generatedAssist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationshipsComply with restaurant security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislationTaking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant:Analysing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitabilityOrganising marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemesPreparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and salesCreating and executing plans for department sales, profit and staff developmentSetting budgets and/or agreeing them with senior managementPlanning and coordinating menusCoordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shiftsManaging staff and providing them with feedbackResponding to customer complaintsEnsuring that all employees adhere to the company’s uniform standardsMeeting and greeting customers and organising table reservationsAdvising customers on menu and wine choiceRecruiting, training and motivating staffMaintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safetyChecking stock levels and ordering supplies
