Finance and Administration Manager at The Imo State Government

The Imo State Government is implementing a World Bank Assisted Financing of Community and Social Development Project (CSDP). The project has the objective to increase access of poor to improved social and natural resources infrastructure services in a sustainable manner throughout Nigeria. This will be achieved through the provision of grant support to benefiting communities for implementation of community driven micro Projects under approved Community Development Plans (COPs).In order to commence state level implementation of Additional Financing, the position below is available for employment:Job Title: Finance and Administration ManagerLocation: ImoKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsuring efficient running of the office and the maintenance of all office facilitiesProcessing and paying all bill, salaries (etc) pertaining to the smooth running of the State AgencyMaintaining schedules of personnel, welfare and other personnel functionsEnsuring the proper recording of financial transactions of the AgencyGenerating adequate, reliable and timely financial reports for the GM and other departmentsPreparing annual budgets and work plans for the State AgencyProcessing anti managing all fund disbursements as well as ensuring proper documentation to facilitate the release of funds from funding agencies to CommunitiesLiaising with banks, tax authorities, and other regulatory agencies on behalf of the State AgencyPreparing monthly and quarterly reports on financial progress of Micro-projects and CDPsPreparing Quarterly Financial Management Reports (FMRs)Assisting the GM in the day to day running of the State AgencyReviewing financial transactions of communities in line with general guidelines issued by the State Agency FPSU and Funding Agencies, and making reports to the GMOffering training and capacity building in the areas of financial management, record keeping and other related matters to Communities
