Prisdav Consulting - Our client, a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company is looking to fill the vacant role below in Ibadan and Akure:Job Title: Area Sales ManagerLocations: Ibadan and AkureJob DescriptionThe job holder will plan, direct and implement sales strategies and programs to achieve or exceed the sales objectives for the company.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage an efficient distribution network to improve sales performance.Meet monthly/annual sales targets through open and closed markets (supermarkets) and other outlets within assigned territory.Identify untapped areas to increase sales and distribution of new and existing product portfolios within.Ensure products visibility and availability in all outlets within territory to expand business.Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and servicesCreate frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial dataEnsure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrationsParticipate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferencesNegotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objectionsCollaborate with team members to achieve better resultsEstablish and ensure that all sales administration procedures relating to the region are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish the sales targets
